Josh Abt / Guitar
Josh is a guitarist and singer/songwriter from Vienna, Va. He has studied guitar on his own for a little over eight years. And has been employed as a studio musician to play on, local DC Songwriter, Brian Ellison's debut record "Playing Headless For Honey". Currently he is writing and recording his second album with his band Josh Abt & The Regulars who have played with acts such as The Blackjacks, We Were Kings, Westmain, Jesse Malin and The St. Marks Social, and The Silent Critics. He's working on his BA in English Literature at George Mason University.

Rachel Beauregard / Voice, Performance
Rachel Beauregard earned her BA in Theatre at George Mason University, and also spent 6 months studying contemporary British Theatre and BBC television at the university of Reading, England. She has been singing for 14 years and is classically trained by private instructors as well as a Governor's School vocal performance program at the University of Richmond. For two years, she entertained in a band called Encore with the Washington Talent Agency, and sang with rock/country band, Melodime. After acting professionally with the Washington Shakespeare Theatre, Forum Theatre, and Rorschach Theatre, she is thrilled to be singing and writing with power-folk trio,
Native Run, with none other than Luke Brindley and Bryan Dawley.

Conrado Bokoles / Bass, Guitar
Conrado is currently the bass player for Justin jones and the Driving Rain, touring around the country playing with such acts as the Drive by Truckers, Grace Potter, Iron and Wine and Levon Helm. Conrado has been teaching for over 14 years. He loves to explore all genres with students, from Jazz to Rock, as good musicians should not be limited in their scope and tastes. Conrado's favorite pastimes are long bike rides down rock creek, playing guitar with his family and going to see live bands play in DC and Virginia.

Luke Brindley / Guitar, Songwriting
Luke graduated from Rutgers University, Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, with a BA in Music specializing in guitar performance and composition. He has toured internationally with various groups. He currently tours nationally as a singer/songwriter and has released five albums available on

Rick Hodes / Drums, Percussion
Rick Hodes has been teaching professionally for over 10 years and playing for 25. He studied classical/rudimental percussion privately for 7 years with the top percussionist for the Army Band, William Messerschmidt and studied percussion performance at East Carolina University with Mark Ford and Harold Jones. In addition he also has been an avid enthusiast of the guitar and electric bass for which he has been playing for 20 years. A seasoned performing artist who has done every type of gig from musicals to big band jazz to zydeco to speed metal. He is also a recording artist for Shrapnel Records with the band Timelord.

Greg Howard / Chapman Stick
Greg is perhaps the most active teacher of Emmett Chapman's Free Hands two-handed tapping method worldwide. Since 1995, he has taught hundreds of Chapman Stick students, both privately and at seminars around North America, Europe and Japan. He has written two method books which focus primarily on the physical aspects of the playing method, applying universal concepts of hand movement and independence training for students of all skill levels and in all genres of music. Greg has released nine CDs and has performed as a soloist and in ensembles at venues like the Montreal Jazz Festival, and Lincoln Center's Summer Festival in New York. Tony Moreno / Electric Bass, Piano
Tony has been performing and recording in and around the Washington, DC area for the past 12 years. Most notably, his band, Future, has released three full-length albums and tours extensively all over the East Coast. Tony began his teaching career ten years ago in a private studio with both piano and bass students. Since then, he has continued to enjoy enriching the lives of others through the knowledge of the art of music. He specializes in Blues, Rock, Funk, Latin and Jazz. He focuses his teaching on proper form and technique, sight reading, ear training and improvisational skills.

John Morrison / Guitar, Piano
John has over 22 years experience in music with over 15 years in guitar. He studied guitar locally under Rob Ross and has over a decade of experience in performing, recording, and songwriting. John has performed at notable DC area venues such as Jammin' Java, The Kennedy Center, and the 9:30 Club. Lessons are focused on sight reading and ear training in addition to learning songs and building tools for songwriting and creativity. Over 10 years experience in teaching.
Vince Scheuerman / Guitar, Songwriting
Vince is the singer, songwriter and guitar player in Army of Me. He has toured extensively in support of Army of Me's latest record CITIZEN (Atlantic Records) headlining clubs, playing festivals, and touring with acts such as Dave Matthews Band, OAR, Blue October, Switchfoot, Good Charlotte, The Used, The Almost.
Caitlin Schneiderman / Guitar, Songwriting
Caitlin Schneiderman is a guitarist and songwriter from Clifton, Virginia. She has been teaching guitar in the area for the past three years and performing for the past twelve years. She has studied with Chris Smither at Fur Peace Ranch in Ohio and specializes in finger style guitar and songwriting. She teaches students of all levels.
John Schucker / Guitar
John is a graduate of The Berklee College of Music in Boston MA with a BA in composition and film scoring. For the past twelve years he has divided his time between teaching private lessons and local and national performances on bass and guitar with artists such as Bobby Parker and Alan Scott. John teaches all levels and contemporary styles with a focus on improvisation and theory.
Patrick Thornton / Bass, Piano
Patrick has been teaching bass for 7 years. He studied music at George Mason University. For the past 3 years he has been touring with national recording artist Pat McGee and regionally with local singer-songwriter Taylor Carson. Specializes in slap pop technique, funk and rock.

Patrick Williams / Guitar, Bass guitar
Patrick has been performing, writing, and recording music for 25 years, with 20 years of teaching experience. In 2005, he co-founded the award-winning children's music group Rocknoceros, singing and playing guitar as "Williebob". The band has entertained families in almost every venue the D.C. area has to offer, including the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap's Theater in the Woods, Jammin' Java, the 9:30 Club, and countless libraries, elementary schools and community centers. They have become a local institution, and continue to grow nationally with the 2011 release of their new collection of songs, Colonel Purple Turtle. Patrick teaches instrumental technique and musical hearing, combining studies and songs to develop understanding of harmony, melody and rhythm.
