Luke Brindley / Guitar, Songwriting
Luke graduated from Rutgers University, Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, with a BA in Music specializing in guitar performance and composition. He studied for 4 yrs with Ken Wessel, guitarist in Ornette Coleman's Prime Time. He has toured internationally with various groups. He currently tours nationally with the Brindley Brothers. He's released five CDs, the latest, is available
here.
Marc Caponi / Piano
Marc has been playing the piano for more than 25 years. He has also studied percussion with Air Force percussionist Randy Eyles and music composition with Dr. John Hilliard at James Madison University. He plays the keyboard in several DC-based bands and won a Wammy (Washington Area Music Award) for his 1994 solo CD.
Anthony Fiacco / Guitar
Anthony has been teaching for five years. He performs regularly on the East Coast and recently released his first EP. He specializes in rock and pop guitar styles.
Rick Hodes / Drums, Percussion
Rick studied percussion performance at East Carolina University and studied for 8 years with Bill Messershmidt, Sec. Leader of the Army Band. He been playing drums for 20 years and teaching for the last 7 years.
John Holt / Guitar
John graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Music degree. He studied classical guitar there with Keith Stevens and
performed regularly with the JMU Classical Guitar Ensemble. John has
written and played with numerous groups over the years ranging in
styles from rock, pop, jazz and classical. John has most recently
joined Shane Hines and The Trance and performs with them regionally.
Brian Keating / Bass, Guitar
Brian graduated from Elon University with a degree in Philosophy. He played bass in the high school and university jazz bands. Brian relocated to Virginia in 2001 where he has been teaching and performing ever since. Understanding the important dynamic involved with the teacher-student relationship, he has continued to study with other teachers as well as attending industry conferences and panels. Brian currently plays bass in the regionally touring band Shane Hines and the Trance.
Dan Mineart / Bass, Guitar
JK Royston / Drums, Guitar
J.K. is a graduate of James Madison University with over 10 years of
performance experience. He has toured nationally, played numerous
major music conferences, and recorded/released three records. As a
writer, he has had original tracks featured on MTV and added to
rotation on several radio stations around the country. Currently, he
is playing guitar and touring with The Bigger Lights.
Buddy Speir / Guitar
Buddy graduated from Shenandoah University, Cum Laude, with a BA in Commercial Music. He has been performing up and down the east coast with a number of acts, the latest of which is the Fairfax based band Welbilt. He has taught numerous students over the past few years, specializing in intermediate and advanced guitar and music theory. All styles are welcome...
